Save On Your Taxes
DACC is committed to lowering its tax rate, continuing hands-on career training for students across Delaware County
It’s a Renewal with a Reduction, Not a New Tax
THE RENEWAL AT A GLANCE
DACC last renewed this levy in 2015. November 2026 is the last opportunity to renew it with a lower rate than voters have paid in over a decade.
A rate reduction, not an increase
The current 1.7 mill levy would be replaced with a renewal at 0.75 mills, a reduction of 0.95 mills for local taxpayers.
Renewing preserves a 12.5% property tax discount that’s only available on levies passed before 2013 — a discount growing to 15.8%.
Keeps your tax rollback
0.35 mills supports the General Fund for daily operations and staffing; 0.4 mills supports equipment and facility needs.

Why It Matters
A countywide economic engine
DACC is more than one campus - it's the connective tissue between Delaware County students and local employers. Through partner districts, business advisory committees, and career awareness outreach that starts long before students ever enroll, DACC helps build the workforce our community depends on.
93%
Within six months of graduating, 93% of DACC students have a job, are in the military, or are continuing their education in the field they studied at DACC.
52
elementary, middle, and high schools across the county rely on DACC for hands-on career training
31%
of DACC’s real estate tax revenue would be lost if the levy fails - about $7.9 million a year
DACC’s reach extends well past its own students, into local businesses, younger students who haven’t chosen a path yet, and adults building new careers. Here’s a taste of how.
DACC is For Every Family in Delaware County
Community job fairs & job board
DACC hosts job fairs open to the public and maintains a community job board, connecting Delaware County residents with local employers.
Community events connect parents and residents directly with local employers to learn about specific industries — open to anyone, not just DACC families.
Future of Work events
Career awareness, starting early
DACC regularly visits elementary and middle schools countywide, plus offers a free Career Tech Saturday each spring and reduced-cost summer camps, so students can explore careers years before deciding on a path.

The reduction reflects DACC's current financial position and long-term planning. The Board of Education determined the district could continue supporting students, programs, equipment, and facilities while reducing the amount collected from taxpayers.
The resources at DACC, along with the support and encouragement from my instructors, gave me the confidence to pursue my passion and continue building my skills. That experience helped lead me to The Ohio State University, and today I work as a photojournalist for Spectrum News, telling stories through photography and video.

DACC's hands-on training gave me a head start that I still feel today. As a Computer Science student at Michigan State University, I'm already working as a Lead Software Engineer for the university's networking department, all while serving in the Army National Guard.
The confidence and leadership skills I built at DACC carry into everything I do.

At DACC, I learned to make agar for Petri dishes from scratch and apply samples using the Z-pattern technique - skills I use every day as a Medical Technologist.
DACC gave me hands-on experience most students don't get until college. Today I work in infectious disease diagnostics at LabCorp while pursuing my master's in Forensic DNA & Serology at the University of Florida.
